2G Crank Trigger Plate Position

Im am redoing my timing belt and all that other good stuff. When I put on the crank trigger plate on do I need to put that in in any specific orientation as far as the timing mark on it? I know which way it goes on just need to make sure it can be in any position when i put it in and then just make sure it is timed to the mark on the lower timing cover when the belt is on.

There is a bevel in one side that fits against the balancer sprocket and there is a notch for the keyway in the crank. If you put it on any other way you will bend valves.

Ok I go the bevel part but I think I missed the keyway in to the crank I shall go check!

The keyway is the notch in the crank. I don't think there is anyway to mess that part up.
