So im in the process of assembling my engine, The block was line bored, the crank was ground 0.25 over and all the clearances were checked by the machine shop.

I cleaned everything, installed the 0.25 over bearings, lubed them up, put the anabolic sealant everywhere. put in the rear main seal and torqued all the bolts to spec.

So im just wondering what is considered "spinning freely"? I can spin the crank by the snout with one hand it takes some force. I can spin the crank with one finger by the counterbalance but there is resistance.

Im not sure if im being stupid or paranoid heeh.

Sounds just about right. As long as the clearances were good, and you used some assembly lube and followed all the instructions/manuals you should be good to go!
