Hey everyone, I have been thinking about the engine set-up for my '91 TSi AWD. Its a shell as of now. It needs quite a bit of body work. I thought I might as well build the engine while the engine bay gets painted and such.
Now, I am looking at getting a 2.3L stroker. My original plans included Wiesco pistons, Eagle rods, and a forged Eagle crank. The kit for all of that, and bearings (from MAP), is cheaper than buying everything seperate. I however want to save some money.
So I figured I could use a 4g64 crank to save some money in the end. I have also looked but cannot really find where it is listed what a 4g64 crank's max HP rating is.. I guess my question is; should I save for the forged crank or go for the 4g64 one?
