Has anyone ever heard of this company? This is the first I've seen or heard of this company and this manifold.

Custom Plenum Creations - MITSUBISHI - 4G63

Any thoughts or information on this company/manifold? I was just looking around at all of the intake manifolds (Venom, BJ's, JMF, Krause, Hawver, FRH, Venom, DV/DT, AMS, Buschur, Polk Performance, FFTEC, Redine Performance, Driven Innovations, Magnus, SBR, Weapon R, Ebay) and the list goes on and found this one.

Also, I'm curious as to what manifolds I left out. I did a little searching and saw an HKS manifold they offer as well. Not sure if it's for Evo's only or not.

Let me know.

I just emailed the custom creations website here is what he sent me back very expensive !!!

Thanks for getting in touch.

What model is the engine. The Evo 3 and earlier has the injectors on the
head, where anything afterwards have the injectors on the manifold which
means two different prices. Anyway, without injector bosses, it is $1200 +
delivery. With injector bosses, assuming you run the injectors on the
manifold, $1400 + delivery. This will require a custom fuel rail which is
$200.

Delivery with be $120 to Kansas, USA.

Optional extras are
80mm billet throttle body $430
Polishing $120

Hi Keith and everyone else, I am the owner of CPC.

This is what I replied to Keith:

"I did notice you thought they were a little expensive. The different between mine and all other the generic stuff out there is that first of all, it’s just a box or piece of tube welded to some runners. Each manifold can be custom designed to suit the particular engine. I don’t mass produce, I specialise in one-off’s but do offer group buys of 5-10 every now and then.

As you can tell from the design, everything is made in the interests in supporting a larger amount of airflow in the smoothest and least turbulent manner all while keeping airflow consistency between runners around as close as humanly possible.

As for the dyno sheets, piece of cake, I am sure there is one (if not plenty more) workshop/owner who will take one for free :thumb:"

The design of the manifold has changed slightly since then (of the one in the link), more to the rear of the plenum, but the concept is the same.

I actually have a 4G63 manifold which has been ordered, so I can show you the updates if you all like.

Crazy expensive for sure. The only intake manifold I know of that is that much is the DV/DT FAB one. I am just curious as to how well this manifold performs. I'd like to see some dyno pulls against other intake manifolds like the Curt Brown Spec JMF manifold, AMS and DV/DT FAB among others.

Hey Ariel, welcome to tuners. I am just wondering if someone gave you a heads up that I created this thread or not? It says you joined the site as of today and it's either a crazy coincidence or you were informed by someone. Just curious as to who knows of your company on here or if you found the thread yourself.

I saw your post on here and looked them up looked at the intake and sent him an email asking for the price he sent me the email back with the price and asked where i heard about him at so I told him here

I just scratch my head every time I see a new intake manifold for the 4g63 yet there is zero evidence that it performs. For example, Polk, DV/DT and this manifold. Just because, in theory, they should work doesn't mean they do. I just would like to see some proof.

Yes I was put onto this forum by Keith.

Considering the amount of manifolds I have made and all for turbo charged applications over the years, and we are talking hunderds upon hundreds (just look how many different types I have made which are on my site), with countless flow and dyno testing, you begin to create your own theory.

A lot of what is written in books/university papers is usually true. Everyone likes to add their own touch through their experiences and this is why there is competition in the market of aftermarket parts.

I have put it out there...any reputable user or workshop can perform their own tests which will show the results and unlike many out there at all, it will be completely dependant. I have never associated myself with any one particular workshop because I am here for the end consumer, producing the best manifold I can.

Cheers,
Ariel

While I do agree with what you're saying, at the same token you will find it extremely hard to sell a 4g63 intake manifold that hasn't been proven. Without dyno results proving that your design outperforms your competitors, it's just another overpriced piece of metal. No offense to your product but that's the sad truth.

It's going to be hard to persuade people with words and not proof that your $1200+ intake manifold is better than a $500 JMF intake manifold. I would just like to see a large group of intake manifolds tested on a dyno. I highly recommend that you send your intake manifold to a vendor/tuner shop on here and request that they do dyno pulls and comparisons against other SMIM's and intake manifolds.
