1. I think my boost is running too high, 15psi, (and the car is pulling timing), so I want to try adding something to my fuel next time I go to the track. Does that octane booster stuff work, or should I just add a gallon or two of my Dad's race fuel to the car.

2. How the hell do you get the drivers side headlight out? I took out the bolts i could see and nothing happened, or is there an easy way to take those clamps off that hold the cover to the assembly?

3. Whats a good psi to run in my front tires for the track?

Sorry for the noob questions, but I was just out working on my car and these popped into my head. And I can't search because my rims are just sitting out there waiting to be taken. :( So I came in and typed this up real quick. Thanks

Yes I have the UIP, intake and filter, and a Greddy Type-S. My gauge is reading 15 psi, but my car feels like it accelerates faster at part throttle when I am only getting to around 13 psi. I only get 91 octane around here, so I thought 15 might be a little high, and wanted to know if that octane booster might help when I go to the track. Thanks

please don't put octane boosters in your car. octane boosters are measured in points. one point actually equals .1 actual octane increase. they are an absolute ripoff. i suggest running a mixture of toulene (sp?) with your gas for actual octane increase. check out http://members.shaw.ca/ and it will answer your octane booster questions and i believe they also have charts for proper mixing. just be sure that you put the fuel that you want to run on race day in your car a few days before the race so it gives your ecu a chance to "learn" and adjust to the new fuel. it will help alot more with advancing your timing than just splashing it in right before you go. and i believe our cars will advance the timing all the way up to 116 octane, but don't quote me on that.

whoa. nevermind. don't click on that link. what the hell is that? sorry it was supposed to be a page answering fuel questions. if you'd like, i will find the correct webpage for you tomorrow and post it. oops.
