My first question is kinda stupid but i have been hearing things and just want to make sure. My question is do you redline in every gear when you race in a 2g GSX? i have hear that you shouldnt do that in 1st and 2nd gear. It is true or just a myth?

And my last question is with my current mods listed in the profile and goal of running a 12 or 11 second 2g GSX...what psi can i push safely with stock internals without wearing it too much? I havent dyno tune my car yet but i will and i havnt raise the boost yet til i tune my car. But i wanna before so i can tune at that psi on pump gas. Im thinking about pushing around 22 psi with stock internals and my mods..is that pushing it too much or good?

The only reason why I shift before redline at the track is because the stock turbo drops off. I usually shift around 6500 or so. You have an upgraded turbo so I don't see why you wouldn't go to redline.

As far as pushing on boost... use a logger or tuning device that will let you know what's going on and learn it's functions and how your car communicates with it. Every car is different. Watch your logger when you're WOT and back off as soon as you see timing pulled (which means you're knocking).
