Couple issues, tested, still come back with nothing?

Hey everybody, I have a couple small issues going on with my 2g GST (1995). I read through a few threads and they were either never resolved or not my problems.

A little back ground of what Ive noticed so far (done to the car) and what Ive done to fix/ test what was done. First off, it has had the vacuum line clean up, BLT showed a leak on 1 lower FMIC coupler (cracked, replaced) didnt hear/ notice anyting else and tested the piping @ 15 psi, held for a bit but did slowly go down (did not time it)

The car has a 16g swap, stock injectors, as far as I know no tuning?? FMIC, Tial BOV recirculating, fuel labs FPR (reading correct psi), reads 11psi oil pressure at idle at operating temp (low-ish but within spec according to my searching), water temp between 200-220 so its cycling coolant. Brand new (150 miles ago) upstream o2 sensor. Also have done a full tune up, fluid change, plugs, wires, inspected under VC and fixed a crack around a bolt on the VC.

Hopefully that is enough information about the car and show what I've tried to find these problems...

1) After I drive for a while and the car gets to operating temp, if I park it for 15-20 minutes and start it up again the idle fluctuates from 1k rpm to about 500. When I give it gas it almost stalls and I have to feather the clutch to start moving, but once I drive literally 30 feet I can push the clutch in and it returns to a 900 rpm idle like nothing ever happened, and will remain that way ALL throughout driving in stop and go traffic, until I shut it off again...

2) Im throwing a CEL flash @ 6500 rpms @ WOT. Yes, I know it is 16g swapped and I am unsure of a tune? but the boost is only @ 10 psi, from what Ive read its 3-4 BELOW stock. The CEL just flashes 1 time for about the duration of a blinker light, Ive read it could be a knock, detonation, misfire, fuel pump etc... but no thread actually fixes the problem or states the solution. I did a pull tonight just to see if it would do it again after the initial finding of this problem a coupledays ago... 3rd gear pull, 10 psi boost from 3300 rpm on, started at 2k rpm to 6800 or so, pulled hard from 30 mph to 90 mph and flashed only as it passed 6500 rpm.

Any help is appreciated, or any other suggestions to have me try.

Thank you

And sorry its so long, but I figured more information would help you guys help me.

Also, I have a useless "blinky light" narrowband for the time being (came installed in the car)... will have a wideband after I get paid this week. But the Narrowband read steady in the first green "rich" light when pegged at WOT during my run, no sweeping motion like when im normally driving, and when I let off to slow down I did smell a little bit of a fuel smell.

Did you delete the fuel pressure solenoid? If you deleted the vacuum line to the fps, you will get a lean start condition. The lean condition only lasts about 30sec-1min. On hot start, the fps opens the regulator to atmosphere and raises the fuel pressure until the fps closes and then resumes normal operation.

I did not do any of the mods to the car, I purchased it 2 weeks ago and have slowly been going through it, BLT, tune up, CEL for bad o2 sensor etc... this is about the last of the problems and it will be in tip top shape and I will start modding (EVO fuel injectors, SAFC neo, wideband, boost up to 15-18psi and tune) I want it to be in good running order before I start really messing with it.

I will look into the solenoid and check the vac lines there, as far as I can remember off the top of my head the FPR went, fuel in, fuel out, vac line to manifold with T for boost gauge there. But I will double check the exact vac line routing.

Thanks for the response
