Hey wassup guys.

I'm new to the dsm community. I've owned two hondas (accord/prelude) before and now currently own a green 97 spyder gst 5speed and am currently located in ft.bragg, n.c

Couple of questions...

1) whats the name of the color of my car?..its sorta inbetween teal and green.

2) I've been bit by the turbo bug and want to upgrade already. After reading a lot of stuff on this site I've decided to buy this turbo http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16296&cat=0&page= because of my lack of power going to the rear wheels.

If I purchase this turbo I was wondering what exactly do I need to install this? Would I need to upgrade bovs', fuel, and fmic immediately? etc etc

3) What the hell can i do to get rid of the notchiness of the damn mitsubishi shifter. I miss honda transmissions already :)

thanks guys

1. A picture would help
2. Yes that's a good upgrade choice, to install look to stage1 and stage2 of our tuning guide.
3. A B&M short shifter is a good start but the tranny is naturally notchy.

1) dunno

2) You have NO power at the rear wheels.... You should really read THIS first. Pretty much you need basic fuel mods, BOV, exhaust... its all laid out and explained for you.

3) Get used to it. The only thing I can recommend is some BG Syncroshift or any other good gear oil. Some people have had very pleasing results with BG in their tranny.

is it the same color as my talon?
as for the notchiness of the tranny i use a mix of 2 quarts of penzoil syncromesh and .4 quarts of lucas oil additive and it works pretty good. i use the lucas to thickin it up a bit because the syncromesh is thinner than what our tranny's require.

What you really need to do is Get a POCKETLoGGER, upgrade your Fuel PUMP to 190 or 255LPH, Go with some 660'CC denso injectors. Open up your exhaust and go with 3in O2 Eliminator from RNR Racing, Go to Turbo TRiX or ForcedPerformance and Pick your self of up td06h 20g turbo from Forced Performance. Get your self a FMIC and BOV and A SAFC. whewww that was most of the stuff... right there. Its best if you do more research and read up on the Staged mods.

Check any GM dealer. They always have tons of the stuff and it really does work. :thumb:
