could this be a transmission mount?

Was looking under tranny because i was getting a wierd vibration noise and when the clutch is pushed in it disapears.. so i was thinking it was the shield on the tranny and i got under there and it was missing some bolts so i replaced missing bolts . but why i was down there i also noticed a broken brace looking thing and im almost positive its holding the tranny in place.. here is a picture of it .. if anyone can tell me if its an actual mount or not..
