Could off timing cause this?

Alright, I've posted a few posts about my car having misfires and so car I get almost the same answers on all the posts(plugs, wires, and coils). And I've changed and checked all of those. I remember vaguely reading a post somewhere online about car having misfires due to timing. NOw, I've just found out that my timing is off by 7 teeths. Can someone please tell me could this be the cause of misfires in my during high RPMs?
