coolant tempature sensor?

hey

were is this located? any photos of it, my temp gauge doesnt show the tempature and i believe this is what cause it to overheat last night?

found it but with no plug in it, its the top one on the thermostat housing and its white? but theres no plug to it? the fans not kicking in but the ac one goes on when we have the ac on so thats how were keeping it from overheating now

The one on the top is the a/c coolant temp sensor. All that does is turn off the a/cwhen the engine gets to a certain temperature, 239*F.

The bottom left one is for the ecu.

The bottom right one is for the gauge.

There is a thermosistor on the bottom of the radiator near the passenger side. This tells the fan when to turn on.
