1G coolant temp sensor

so i baught a new tsi yesterday its a 90. the coolant temp sensor (the one right by where you fill up the coolant.) has ben cut at the wiring harness i think what wires should i be looking for besides the cut ones what color or where do they come from

If it the one on the top of the thermostat housing dont worry about it thats for the ac,the one for the computer is at the bottom of the thermostat housing
