2G coolant temp sensor

i'd really appericate it if anyone can help..i got a 98 gst with a 91 swap, and car won't start when its cold, i've been told to change the coolant temp sensor and not sure which one to get for it.. anyone can tell me what kinda coolant temp sensor i would need to change to fix my car would be much appericated..thank you..

If it's cold out have another car jump-start yours. It's normal for a car to have a hard time starting in cold weather. Also do you have the thermostat in there ?

yes i do have a thermostat in there, and don't need a jump when i just got a new battery..i know i have to change the coolant temp sensor.. just not sure which coolant sensor it is..

Change both sensors if you're inclined on changing them. Save time/money.

You need to use a 2G ECT sensor to be compatible with your 2G ECU. The sensor itself has two male prongs which connect to a 2 wire sensor harness: one black wire and a black w/white stripe wire.
