Hello everyone, brand new here. I recently bought my wife a 97 GST. My temperature sensors are not plugged in. In fact I cannot find any loose plugs anywhere in the general area of the sensors. I was wondering if anyone knew where these plugs are run from or how to rewire them. The main harness that runs over top of the injectors has also been hacked. There is a red and a black wire poking out that have been cut and it also looks like the cam angle sensor? has been manually rewired into this harness. I am at a loss as to how to fix any of this. My main concern is to try and get the temp gauge to work and temp sensor to ecu to work before summer. Can anyone assist me with this?

Thanks,
Josh

Well, from what I have gathered thats not a bad thing? I assume the coolant temp sensors would still be hooked up the same with the swap? If so, can anyone tell me where the plugs lead from coming out of the main wiring harness so I can try to trace them back and possibly(crooses fingers) the plugs are somewhere around there?

Anybody out there have any kind of picture of where the plugs for the sensors originate?

i have no idea where they originate, but i can tell you they end up on two plugs in the thermostat housing. are you getting readings on the temp sensors (ecu and gauge)?

No, I am not getting a reading on either. The sensors are not even hooked up. The a/c fan switch on the t-stat housing is not hooked up either. I cannot find the any plugs that are not hooked up anywhere.
