Coolant leak at housing

okay i got a new motor in with and its leaking from the yellow marked on the photo below..

when i pulled my old one out it had an o ring, and i tried rtv'ing the new one but it still leaks.

where do i find the gasket?

try dealer if its a oem part, or one of our many vendors you can email or call them for parts and pricing, that seems easier to do.

Isn't that where the lower radiator hose slips on? There is no gasket or o-ring there; you need the correct hose in good shape, a clean surface, and a good clamp (or two) to prevent any leaking.

yeah there is no gasket there, i agree. Just clean it with fine sand paper and put a good clamp or two to seal it, that is if its not cracked or rusted to s@#t. Replace if that dosent help.

Brian's right. That's where the lower radiator hose slips OVER that fitting and seals with a clamp or two. If it had an o-ring in there then someone band-aided it, you either need a new lower radiator hose, a new clamp, or both.
