I have a 97 GSX. My question is I need a new water coolant bypass pipe that runs under the exhaust manifold. I have a part number for the pipe: MD319841. I was wondering if this part is the same regardless of having a 6 or 7bolt block. The guy I bought this from said it has the 6 bolt, but I've been debating his honesty! Thanks for the space and time...

That part number is for the oil cooler coolant feed. This is a 2G specific part, i.e., it is different than a 1G part.
