Converting a 420A to a 4G63T nees some adivce

I have a 1G head and intake for 2G my block i know that i have to get diffrent pistons for the block to work cuz of the compression. I know i need the baisc turbo stuff i would like to eather hard wire the turbo in or splice it in. Or would it just be eaiser to get a new harness. Also what should i do with the ECU? The throtle body on the 1G is on the oppiset side that mine is on now what can i do or should i just go with the 2G intake manifold? If you have any sugestions on any parts or and ideas for me that would be great thanks
 
You know the 4g63 and 420a blocks are completly different right? You can't just swap heads. You may be confusing this with the 4g64 in the spyders. The only way you could do that is to swap engines/subframes/etc.

Maybe I missunderstood your post, but what you want to do, can't be done.
 
Many fabricating shops won't even consider doing the swap because it costs around $8,000 to do it. You might as well just save to buy the whole car and it will still probably be cheaper than doing that swap.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but there would be soooooo many turbo eclipses running around if that were possible

Hardwire the turbo in?

I'm not going to flame you. You have much to learn.

You have a completely different engine in your car than a 4g63. A 4g63 head will *not* go onto your motor. 420a to 4g63 is not an easy swap, but it isn't as hard as most people make it out to be. However, due to the plethora of little things you'll need, the easiest way to do the swap would be to buy a whole donor car.

Honestly, the best thing in your case to do would be to just buy a Hahn turbo kit. And take it to a shop and let them install it :)
