I have been told there is a way to change the position of resistors on the ecu to change it from a 390cc injector ecu from an auto car, to a 450cc injector ecu like a manual car. Has anyone heard of this, or have any information about it? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

im about to do this. sorry i dont have an answer but i would like to knowif i can just swap out the injectors orif there is more i need to do

No that whole resistor thing was just a myth that a guy at the track told me. If you want to swap out the 390's with 450's you have a few options.
1)If you have an EPROM ecu you can get a custom chip programmed for the 450's
2)You can just put in an ecu and fuel pressure regulator from a 5 speed car.
3)You can use an SAFC or similiar air correction tool to retune the car with the larger injectors.
I chose to do all 3 and go with 780 injectors, but just any one of the above will work for 450's.
I hope this helps thanks, Kevin
