thanks all in advance.

post any pictures or link you might have of a DSM steering wheel right side conversion..

Well I don't know if it's possible to do but you would have to have the dash custom made since there were no right hand drive Eclipses. As far as the steering goes you may be able to adapt an FTO unit to work, it's built on the same platform as the Eclipse anyway. I am in no way saying this will work or if it's even possible but those are some things you have to think about, this would be extremely complex and probably more expensive than practical. Just out of curiousity, why would you want to do this anyway?

i would want to do it to have a different style...well not style but a custom eclipse.Im not saying Im going to do it just would want to have something different....you know what I mean.....lets say you would have the money to do it ....would you????when people would break the necks when you driving orpeople taking pictures....thats the feeling of achivement...:thumb:

I don't think people are really gonna notice, they'll probably just think you are the mailman. :thumbdown

LOL!!! thats the thing my dad said when I asked him!!!

Your father is a smart man.:D

but really would a FTO unit really work??? does any in here Know something about it???plz post

Dude, what I would do if you get a fat check, is find a way to make a hardtop convertibile like the 3kgt spyder. That would be way wicked, and much much more noticeable than the steering wheel thing... You'd get mad props, and win lots of shows.

Although a bit unsettled that I would rise to this, your concept would be entirely hand-made. There are no RHD DSMs, largely because they're American cars.

You're on your own.

Best of luck, take lots and lots of pictures for those who like that sort of thing.
