Hey all, this may seem like a silly question so please bear with me.

I have been searching around on Google as well as this forum and I have become a bit confused with the fitment of the Sylvania Silverstar headlight and fog light bulbs.

As for the headlights:

I have come across some conflicting facts about the direct fitment of the bulbs. I would like to get these bulbs to replace both the high and low beams. Some people have posted a simple before and after pictures without any information as to fitment.

After a Google search, I came across an old posting about someone having issues with the install. I have not been able to find any recent postings (only ones from 2004/6) about this subject.

Are these 9005 and 9006 a direct replacement that require no retrofitting?

As for the fog lights:

I came across this posting during my search of this subject:

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/app...or/216494-fog-lights-stock-vs-silverstar.html

The last post states "Here's a reference to a retrofit:", but has no images that follow.

Are the Silverstar H3 fog light bulbs a direct fit that do not require any retrofitting?

(I have found a "How To" on replacing the fog light bulbs, so I will reference that when I replace the bulbs)

Awesome. Thanks for the reply!

Anyone have experience with the Silverstar Fog light bulbs?
