Speedometer doesn't work. I bought the car with it not working, the dealer told me he was going to fix it. Well, we replaced the speedo sensor and gear. We replaced the speedometer gauge itself. Still doesn't work. The dealership guy doesn't have a puter to plug the car into. Anyone know what the problem could be?

If you replaced the speed control sensor and gear, and gauge and still doesn't want to work. You might want to see if you got power going to your speed control sensor. If you got power going to the plug than work your way back till you find your problem. It might be an electrical problem. Try it and get back at me. I had the same prblem but mine was the S.C.S. :dsm: :thumb:

Well, before I replaced the sensor, I had a code. Said speedo wasn't work, duh. Then I replaced the sensor and the code is no longer present, so that alone says I have power. I'm kinda thinking it's my cable. Maybe the cable snapped inside the black insulation? I havn't checked it out yet but I will and I'll let ya know.
