Confused...Did I Get The Wrong Test Pipe?

I have a 3" o2 elminator downpipe, 2.5" test pipe, and a 3" catback. The test pipe was causing a leak since it was so much smaller...so I ordered a 3" from RRE. It came in today and it's 20.25 inches long! I'm confused... it says 2G AWD right on the pipe, but is 4 inches longer than my stock cat and my other test pipe.

Did I get sent the wrong one or something?

Its funny...the last 5 things I've ordered on the intraweb have either been broken or the wrong part. I just can't catch a break ...

I think since RRE test pipes are custom made by RRE themselves, they are sized to fit only their custom made downpipes and not other brands.

Odd, the stocker is only 16" long. i think the guy above is right.

get it welded on to the downpipe and catback...then cute off 4 inches of the catback right before the muffler, then have them weld the muffler back onto the catback...

that should cost no more then 50-75 bucks at a muffler shop

Or just cut 4" off the testpipe and reweld it together. That would be way easier

Called RRE... Unimpressed with their customer support and attitude, but whatever. Their test pipe is made exclusively to fit their downpipes... so I'm shit outta luck. I have one being shipped to me from RNR anyways.

Anybody wanna buy a brand new 20" long, 3" diameter test pipe?

That really blows, what no returns? They should list that on there web site if its not already thats pretty jacked and probably happens alot.

..why not just cut off the extra length? you are going to have it welded on either way right? i can understand being upset about a short pipe.. but a long one is probably that way to give you room to work with it.. maybe im missing something??
