I just picked up my driveshaft from the shop and it kind of sits straight up. Look at the section where the middle piece is mounted to the rear piece. It seems like its one solid piece. I dont remember how it was before I took it there, and its for my AWD swap so I really havent been around AWD drivetrain much.

Is there supposed to be a flex there? I found another picture of 2g drive shaft and it looks like its flexing at that spot.

Did the shop assemble the shaft wrong?

That is a LOBRO joint; it is supposed to have flex there.

The driveshaft looks right.

I took apart the lobro joint and it was somehow stuck although it was packed with grease. I cleaned it up, creased it and put it together. It now flexes properly.
