So I am checking my plugs and wires today, and I decided to compression test since I was taking the plugs out anyways. I was driving nice and hard for awhile and did it right after that. I got the following:

Cylinder 1 Cylinder 2 Cylinder 3 Cylinder 4
160 150 165 160

Cylinder 2 looks a little low (second from right) and I was wondering if it's too low. Otherwise, I think my compression is pretty good. Let me know what you guys think. THANKS!

I would just keep an eye on it. Nothing you can really do without pullin git appart so drive it while you can and if it gets worse then you know what you have to do.

Good to see that I'm still "OK", and thanks for the suggestion on Seafoam No_Skillz

For a 2g turbo good compression numbers are anything 160 and above. (10% of 178psi) You could also next try adding a cap full of oil to #2 and seeing if the compression rises.

178psi is perfect. 135psi is the low end. Should be within 15psi of each other, so you're right on the border with your #2 and #3. Looks like something's going on with your #2.

178psi is perfect? i thought 164 was factory compression?

1G and 2G perfect compression numbers are different due to the change in compression ratio.
