I overheated my engine a month ago so I did a compression test, and got 150-140-130-150. Do I need to worry about driving it with these low numbers or could I cause more damage. How much do you think it would cause to rebuild/repair?

There's no harm at all in driving it.

Did you do the compression check w/ the engine at operating temperature? Doing a compression check along with a leakdown test (www.vfaq.com under 'engine') with the engine hot will let you know if if your piston rings/cylinder walls are worn or possibly damaged.

Those are some good numbers compared to what i got before my rebuild ROFL. It wont hurt anything driving it around. The cost depends on whats wrong with it. just do what the guy above me said. then go from there. The cost also depends on whether your doing the work yourself, or having a pro do it.
