composite fuel rail

Fuel spends .005 seconds in there before being thrown into the motor. It does not stay in there long enough, not to mention gas in your tank is always 30+ degrees cooler than what it is outside.

If you gonna ponder money on this, upgrade the whole fuel system and lines to -6/-8/-10 an fittings and lines.

But there are still benefits to fuel cooling, so I wouldn't disregard the idea. Many race cars run some form of fuel cooler. On the street you probably won't see a difference.

No one claimed otherwise. He just said for the amount of time the fuel spends in the rail, it isnt worth the effort.

I wasn't trying to make it a big deal. I just tried to say there are benefits as well. But since you bring it up, I do take it that by claiming that fuel spends .005 seconds in the fuel rail and that it is 30* degrees cooler as trying to extinguish all other possibilities for benefits.
If you examine costs vs. benefits, then it won't be worth an effort (that I agree), but it may be worth something to someone. Cool? ;)
