I purchased a cometic headgasket a few years back, which i remember is a 85.5mm gasket.I rebuilt my motor with .20 over Arias pistons. In researching the sizing after installing the 85.5mm gasket, every where I looked shows the 85.5mm as for standard pistons and the 86mm for .20 over.as I remembered the 85.5mm gasket cleared the bore sizing by at least a 16th of a inch all around and the motor turns freely.Do you think in the future I will have problems or should i switch to an 86mm gasket? thanks for the help!

The gasket will likely compress and squish a little towards the cylinders, hence that gap. I would just go with the 0.020" over one/86mm and be safe.
