Black and gray if you want my professional opinion. That's what I did on my red car. Keep the interior subtle, otherwise you'll regret it in the long run. And you don't want your car looking like a little kid's play area.

I have seen a blue and black interior scheme on a blue car that turned out nice, but it was done buy a professional auto painter. So his blue painted interior was the identical paint to the outside. Whatever you do, don't paint too much or too large areas. Before you chose a scheme, not sure if you have the stock black and tan interior or stock black and gray interior. Whichever it is, I would paint over anything gray or tan to black. This way when you chose an accent color, you won't end up with a three color scheme, which is gross.

I had the stock tan/black in my GST, didnt really care for it much, kind of just accepted it.

Now I have a 95 TSI AWD with the gray interior, and I hate it. Its too plain for me, and Id love to trade it for the Interior I had in my GST.

Just make sure your positive you want to do whatever you end up doing, other wise you'll kick yourself in the ass when you dont like it anymore.

well i'm planning to start with some really small stuff, radio trim, other trim pieces, and let it develope slowly. that way if i decided i didn't like it i could just replace a few trim peices and viola, back to original.
