Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone has some tips to share about what colors mix well for interior/exterior after market seats, trim etc. I have a red 1G talon, so say would a yellow interior look good? Or what other colors are better. Pics would be nice too. :D

i tend to agree, but i'm looking to do something that'll catch your eye. black is to stock looking. imo. what about red and red? or blue? or burnt orange? or? hee hee.

Red and blue sounds cool, but it will make your car look like a friggen clown vehicle. I'd advise against it.

a burnt orange might be kinda cool, I havent seen any cars with that. Be careful when doing bright colors, too much of it makes the car look real cheesy. Pick wisely.

^^I agree with him. Interior color schemes can start looking awful if the color gets overdone. I would do red, personally, seeing that your car is red. I wouldn't do a whole lot of red though, just do a few accent pieces. Just my .02.

Unfortunatly I know from experience how horrid a lot of bright colors can look (too much red in my car, check the gallery). Good thing ive decided to get rid of them.

It seems that. although black seems too OE, its the only thing that works with a few bright accents.

Remember too, that bright colors will reflect on the windsheild if it is in your veiw, just a tip. Also, whatever you choose, be sure you love it, because it is alot of work to do the work, and if you dont like the color anymore, it sucks to change it.

White, I woulden't do my interior any other color. I did mine white, See.. My red gsx the pieces were from, I just transfered them to my white talon tsi. My seats were wrapped also.

reds complimentary colors = yellow, black, white....tan works too, along with gray but those are essentially shades of yellow and black.

anything else will naturally look goofy to the human eye.

thanks guys, i think i'm gonna go with slight red accents, or maybe burnt orange.

I have a blue w/silver trim 1g and I have red under the hood and red on the plastic pieces and replacing the rainbow cloth on the seats :thumb:

:barf: I do agree, that looks pretty bad but that's cause those tones clash horrible. My car is dark blue and the other stuff for the most part is Ford red. But if you don't go overboard with it it really doesn't look bad at all. I'll post some pics of mine online next week.

If you go with a bright yellow, it will be like Hulkamania exploded in your car....

Maybe a subdued yellow... I think white would look sweet. Just don't overdo it. Blue :thumbdown

I don't know what to do with mine because I can start repainting the interior now, but I'm painting the exterior oriental blue. So if i start repainting the interior with silver and blue accents it's gonna look weird until i get the exterior done. It's red now. I guess my point in saying that is I don't want a blue interior while my exterior is red... too superman indeed.

i know what i wanna do someday...black car with a burnt orange interior. now i've got another decision. i've got a black 94 talon, but i was gonna sell that car, and keep my 93 red talon. decisions decisions.

I have a white/ black top 90 Talon with the grey interior...
I hate the interior as is, and will be doing a black w/ white accents as money comes in.

Not as much as the one in the pics above though that is just too much whilte IMO.

Burnt orange interior?? Are you kidding me?? Maybe a burnt orange exterior with a black interior. Interiors should only be black or tan. If black silver trim is allowed, see my gallery for my pics. Hell I hate the fact that my new harnesses are red.
