Color code B47

Is this a rare color or something. I searched the forums about this color code but I didn't find any info on it. Apparently my car is Laguna Blue Metallic code B47. Reason I'm asking is because the codes on my firewall are faded away and I had to call my local paint shop to figure out my paint code to have some paint mixed.

Doesn't really matter how rare a color is, a good shop can always mix a color to match. Some places even have what is basically a fancy camera that takes a picture of color that is not faded (un-faded paint is usually found behind trim panels on inside of the car) and sends that picture to a computer that analyzes it and outputs a recipe to mix that exact color. Same technology can be used on faded paint if you only want a little bit for touch-ups.

So were you able to get paint mixed with this code? This is somewhat a rare but good looking color. The Outlander, MX5, Dar, Mazda 323 and even the 2015 Stingray all have a version of the "Laguna Blue Metallic". Think the name was more popular than the color.

I did indeed find out that my local paint show can mix this color. So the car will receive a fresh coat within a year. Prioritizing funds for the build at the moment

A friend of mine paints cars for a living. He's going to cut me a deal on labor if I pay for the supplies. He does awesome work!
