cold air intake with hx35? temporary

i drive a 97' gsx with full 6 bolt. can i install regular cold air intake with stock maf on hx35? i was thinking about using a silicone coupler reducer. this is only temporary until i get my speed density setup. i dont have all cash flow for speed density and tune yet

Yep that should be no problems at all,
I would definitely not be recommended as a permanent setup because the hx35 will easily over run the maf at high boost.

I don't see why not. (as long as you don't keep it on there forever)

I personally wouldn't do that, just because I would want to wait to install whatever I ordered, and I hate doing things twice.

its something i would keep probably less than 1 month. i definently will keep the boost low
