I was looking on this site a few months back and ran across a man that made cold air intakes for the turbo eclipses. I was wondering if anyone new who he was and if the cold air intakes were any good. If I remeber correctly he was on the home page of DSMTuner and his eclipse is black. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

Thanks
Brandon

yeah, i made one the day after i put my fmic on. Intake temps went down to aroud 24*c on a hard pull.

really? I didnt think theyd make that much a difference considering the cold air was going to be rushing through a hot turbo anyways. ( I still have smic, you probably have front. )

I thought about doing it but, it rains a lot where I live and hydrolock is the last thing I need.

oh ok thanks for the link man...
I thought of a better idea though, dropping it down that hole for the cold air causes a sharp bend, what if you run the intake arm straight but downwards at a diagonal angle and run it to the hole on the plastic lining where the licp from the stock smic was at and the filter will still sit in the same place ( where the stock smic was ) the intake arm may be slightly longer doing it that way but at least no sharp bends...What do you think.?
