cold air filter

do i have to change over to 2g mas to slap on a cold air cone filter? mine only looks like u can use the stock mas with the stock air box. thanks for any help

no you dont have to change to 2g mas, check on ebay or in any store about this set up its available and its direct bolt on

so do i still use the original mas and bolt a cone around the honeycomb piece that sticks into the older stock style filter? and if i buy a hard intake pipe does it come with all the connections and do i have to hook all of them up if emissions is not a concern?

yes you will stll use your orginal MAS ,go to our picture gallery here and have a look at the set up, it shoud be in the engine pictures , you will have all the answers its much easier for you .

You can just get a k&n filter and hack the can. Go to intake section they have a step by step. Vfaq is your friend.
