Coils mounted under the intake manifold

I notice some pics of engine bays that have the coils mounted under the intake manifold. I want to know how it is mounted pics could help alot I Have a set of of new Msd Blaster coils and wanted to use them instead of buying a new COP set up

I'm not sure of the pics you're talking about, but i hve seen it done that was on one car and all the guy did was bend a tab on the coil pack bracket and bolt it to one of the bolts on the botom of the intake manifold bolts... I know it's not much help, but i've honestly only seen it on a regular intake car once (mening not a SMIM)

jmfab makes a coil pack bracket that goes in place of the a/c compressor for them . Someone on here said they got it to work with a/c do a quick search for it on here. I have mine mounted under but I dont have a/c. Pics are in my profile but you cant see the coils

I have the JMF bracket installed under the JMF manifold. Its where the stock A/C compressor would go. Its really hard to get a clear pic but I will try to get one for you.

It's crazy how every little thing that some one does t be unique turns into a cmomercially available part these days ( or it seems ) i thought the one i seen was just him doing it to hide the coils and used what he had to do it... The in that link i learned there's kits for it... just shows I"m getting old i guess

The coil pack bracket by JM Fab is a very nice piece. I run it myself.

Yes things dont tend to stay "unique" for long haha. But it is good to know that these fab companies are still making new things for dsm's instead of abondoning them like other companies.

In the description if you read...fits both 6 and 7 bolts
