Alright, my car is leaning a little bit to the left, and I found out it's the front left wheel where the problem. I'm far from an expert but I'm pretty sure it's either the struts or springs, so I'm going to just replace them both eventually. I don't want my car lowered that much because of my driveway, no more than an inch really. I was looking at megan racing coilovers because I heard those are best if you want near stock height, and KYB GR-2 struts. Well my question is this, will this setup be fine together? And what Megan coilovers would you guys suggest for a daily driver?

Coilovers are shocks/struts and springs built together as once suspension piece. Coilovers are adjustable so you can adjust them to any height you desire (stock, 1", 1.5", 2" lowered, etc.). Are you referring to Megan Racing coilovers or a shock and spring setup?

You can also just replace the front shocks with stock replacements from an Autozone or similar.

Read this for more info regarding coilovers vs springs/shocks:

Yeah I felt like an idiot after I posted that... After I posted it I was like "wait, coilovers are struts and springs" but whatever. God I hate this clueless noob stage...

Anyways, yeah that is a good idea to just replace with factory stuff since I'm just starting out and everything. I was only thinking that because I couldn't find OEM replacement shocks/springs online. If i went to autozone or somewhere to get replacement springs and struts, would it be alright to just get the strut and spring for the left side? Because I heard it's better to do things in pairs, but since this would just be a factory replacement I wasn't sure.

No worries. :)

If one shock is bad you can replace just that one. If they're older, have a lot of miles on them and haven't been replaced in a long time you might want to replace both or even all four. There's no reason why you can't just replace one though, especially if money is tight and that's all you can afford or want to spend at the time. Just keep in mind that other one might need to be replaced some time in the near future.

Unless you're planning on modifying your car and you want to lower it (for looks and performance) I would just stick with the stock suspension for now. Like you said, you're just starting out and the money can probably be better spent elsewhere, right?

Yeah I'll probably just end up replacing the one because I am tight on money right now. Thanks a lot, you saved me a good bit of money haha.

You cant go wrong with the GR2's. For most applications they are pretty much the same as OEM. I had them on the probe (when the probe was still alive) they looked identical.

I was thinking about getting the KYB Gr2's and buying the eibach pro kit springs which is only a 1 inch drop vs stock. my car also steers to the left xD just aligned it and it still favors the left. does anyone have experience with this sort of setup? Im looking for a new shock/strut setup, and I would desire a slight drop from stock, but nothing too car because I have to drive it in the snow >< thanks!
