hi guys
i have a 1g talon FWD that currently has coilovers on it. recently the rear pair blew out so I was wondering for a new set up what would be the best way to go and what i would need. I'm also looking for something thats not stiff like the coilovers, but i have to be very cost efficient.

thanks guys appreciate it

KYB AGX shocks/struts are really good value, had them on my old Talon. Comfortable on the soft setting, awesome handling on the stiff setting.

For coils you could either get some used stock ones or a lowering set.

The KYBs are a good value, but Koni Yellows are the best of the best. Get the proper springs while you are at it, or you're going to blow the new shocks sooner rather than later. I would recommend the Eibach Pro-kit springs.
I made that mistake on my MR2 and was really upset when the whole suspension system failed from not doing the research first.

Consider investing in a camber kit too. I've heard good things about the RoadRaceEngineering kit. Haven't tried it myself yet though.

Goes w/o saying, but what you buy should be based off of what you're doing with the car, not what the other guy's doing, coolest, most expensive, etc.
