Coil on Plugs from ebay

I found some coil on plugs COP that comes with plate cover and are straight plug and play. I was wondering if they were any good if anyone had purchase them before or what your feed back were on them. The sellers Ebay store is the name "thechopshop" and they only sell these coils, they sell them for 190.00 or so. so let me know what you think of them,if theyre good..

Unless they have some sort of an ignition amplifier in the kit, it will perform sub par than stock coils do. I've seen too many dsm's come into to get tuned with a coil on plug kit only to have problems missing then we throw a stock coil setup back on and all is cured.

Save your money.

Ask what type of coils and if it's wired correct it should be fine, but if you're planning on running C.O.P. you'll need DIS or ARC-2 ignition. Plus you don't need C.O.P., you don't even need an aftermarket ignition. I suggest you save yourself the $500-600 and put it in on things you really need.

As long as it's wired right it's a good pick up but I wouldn't spend more than 200 shipped though.

I would buy some fat plug wires and new plugs instead before you buy something off e-bay that may or may not work properly.

Like everyone states, it's not really worth it. I had one for a short while in my car and truthfully the car ran smoother at idle and cruising but when you go WOT it will break up . . . hence the need for an ignition amplifier

Don't waste your money paying 190 for aa COP set up. Find one used that is in good condition if you really want one that bad. I sold my new never used cop set up for 110 shipped Were were you when it was up for sale? I could have gotten more for it
