Hi fellas and ladies too. I've searched researched for hours.

Looking for some advice.

I recently bought a '95 talon awd 5 speed 150k miles. It's just got intake, MBC, small 16g, boost gauge, running about 14-15lbs. Stock fuel. Recent timing belt and tune up. And I just put on a Megan 3" turbo back exhaust. Once installed took it for a couple miles of driving and the check engine light comes on. I run to Advance auto use their scan tool.

I'm getting code 'p0170 bank 1, sensor 1'. So I replace O2 sensor right below the turbo & re-set the ecu. And it comes right back on with in a few miles.

I'm wondering if this would cause open loop operation. I haven't had the car very long my 3rd 2g. I have driven almost 1 full tank of fuel now and I'm prolly getting a little under 200 miles per this tank of fuel. Typically highway driving with just an occasional 2nd or 3rd gear pull at 15psi.

I'm confused b/c it idles and boosts fine but getting barley 200 miles for a completely full tank of 92 octane seems kinda low.

Eventually will be able to tune just saving up some money. Any thoughts are appreciated about the CEL, cat delete and if this seems normal? Going to check for any exhaust leaks next. Thanks.
(Sorry if wrong sub forum)

Appreciate the input. Hate to post needlessly. But will check for leaks over the next day or 3. Got a new to me (used) tube header on it now. Thinking it's cracked somewhere. Will post once I get this figured out.

Solution found. Pulled the manifold off the car. Found the problem. Blown manifold to turbo gasket which was leaking. Replaced with a new gasket. Reset ecu and no more CEL or code. See pic for bad gasket.
