Hey all I own a 91tsi AWd and after 15min. of driving on a hot day it starts to run like its on 2 cylinders and sputtering bad. I pulled a code41 (injector circuit) Any idea what it could be?
 
chances are with a code 41 one of your injectors is bad. Using an ohmeter check resistance of each injector(should be like 2-3 ohms) also make sure all injector clips are on properly. You can also listen to each injector to see if they are clicking on and off, use some tubing or a stethoscope.
 
Also if you have a datalogger most let you turn off each injector 1 at a time to narrow it down to witch one it is.

I just had this same problem, after it would heat up one of the injectors would stop working. So my guess is its one of your injectors.
 
k thx for the reply i have a pocketlogger. How does that work should it be acting up when i test it?
 
Yea test it when its bad and test each one until one doesnt effect the idle. There should be one that doesnt make the car run any different and thats the dead cylinder.
 
make sure you test the wires not just the injector, you can take a LED and put a 680ohm resistor on it, run the long wire on the LED to a positive lead and the short one to the negative wire on the injector.
 
Make sure you check the injectors hot and cold. I just got done replacing an injector that would measure bad only when it got hot. I hoped that would solve my 41 code, but it's back :(

What voltage should I read from the injector clip when I test it?
