ok so ive gone thru 3 clutch disk and a flywheel in 2 months... cant figure the deal out i can take the tranny out in my sleep now. so i got a act clutch set and flywheel and put itt in and its still doing the same thing. if i acclerate to hard it jerks like its slipping and idk what to to any suggestionsand i just not doing the adjustment right? ive watched the jacks tranny thing so many times ithink i doing it right... btw i have act2100 springs disk with 6 blades... pressure plate and light weight flywheel from act bo other upgrades yet cant get it running right to do anything elae to it. because of the slipping thing uve been beat my hondas and everything else that i know i should be able to whoop on. so suggestions would be awesome ty... 95 gst just so u know only 110k on body Less then 1k on fresh rebuild motor i did myself. i am a mechanic by trade and have worked on many cars just never dsm's ty for your help

.... and i do know how to drive a stick...

also my car is idling a bit high say 1800-2100 at the most. what could that be ... also what is the elevtronic switch/sensor on the intake that looks like it has adjusment ... the one that moints to the side right past the curve

when it comes to a clutches hydraulic system on most vehicles, it doesn't matter which brand it is. master cylinder, lines, slave cylinder. the pedal when depressed disengages the pressure plate via hydraulic pressure from the master acting on the slave. if the master is out of adjustment, the slave will either not fully disengage the clutch, or won't let the clutch fully re-engage.

Adjust the pedal height / rod travel for the master and bleed the lines. go from there.

On another note, since you've had the trans off a few times, how is the condition of the rear main seal? if that's leaking, the oil can get onto the clutch disc and cause it to slip as well

was the master adjusted according to spec?
were the clutch fork and pivot ball new or used the first time you changed the clutch?

are you breaking the clutch discs in? these cars reuire a 500 mile break in period ( around town ) where you should engine brake/ downshift and stay off of boost

biss is all the way in... so thats not it... so is it the tps??? i clean maf and changed the map...
so tps is where im at...

that explains it i have been blasting to boost from straight install the clutch .... i have got the clutch adjusted right... ill be gental on it :) hard to do though.

Was the flywheel machined? Is it to spec & proper?
I cannot remember the spec of the top of my head, I think the step is .610"
