Clutch Slip or trans slip?!!??

I need some adivce. I just put a brand new clutch in my 97 talon n/t 5 sp. and the clutch still slips is this due to me no breaking in the new clutch or could there possibly be a problem with the trans and is that makin the clutch slip because the clutch i removed looked pretty new.

N/A manual transmissions don't slip. If you have an AWD transmission in a FWD with a viscus coupler, that would feel like a slipping clutch. You could try removing the slave cylinder, and see if the clutch fork itself has any freeplay. If the clutch isn't fully engaged at this point, then you must have forced the engine and transmission together with the bellhousing bolts, mashing the pressure plate in the process. That's always a no no. But if you changed the clutch, you must know that.
