Just had the clutch done + fluid changed and now can hear some faint noise somewhwere in the driveline when on the highway cruising and especially when letting off the gas. It's faint and does not sound like anything OBVIOUSLY wrong so haven't decided whether a trip back to the shop is in order and wondering if hearing a 'different' sound from driveline after a clutch swap or fluid change is abnormal. You know like in the same way you might get a different pitched humm from swapping fuel pumps.

Went back and was told a few things by the shop including "that's a normal noise, all dsm's make that noise" although mine didn't prior to going in and "clutch replaced was stock and your aftermarket stock replacement non-mitsu is not stock" , and "the full synthetic fluid we used COULD be the reason". So I'm not happy rght now because the number of different reasons and the sound at highway speeds especially when lifting off throttle is more than a little noticeable and actually is fairly horrible.

I'm going to change back from synthetic fluid to regular and if that doesn't help anything I'll have to get a 2nd opinion on the "it's normal all dsm'ers have to put up with it" explanation.
