2G Clutch options and basics

I am in need of a new clutch and I dont know much about them. Was hoping someone cam shed some light for me. Basically my goal will be 450hp. My clutch now is slipping at 15psi. My budget is 400. Twin disk is not a option. I want to buy from extremepsi since they have been very helpful in the past. A bunch of people are running the act clutches but I read that they are a hit and miss. So I was looking into the competition clutch street/strip. If I went with act i guess the 2600? I dont know enough to piece together my own kit which is what most people seem to do. Also I read a lot on jacks trans and they seem to favor act. Also is it necessary to replace the flywheel to? I don't know much about piecing together a kit so I prefer to buy a kit. Also I read good about southbend. But extreme don't sell them. I also see 6 puck and other ones but I dont know what that means. If someone can help me I want to get a clutch im the next week.

Just figured I would update you guys. I got a act2600 with street disk. They are slightly used. The clutch was for 5k miles and the disk was only 300 miles. They look in great shape. I just got a used ACT flywheel for a steal of 75 shipped. Now Im from Pittsburgh pa. Is there any local shops you guys no of? If not who can I send it to? Its getting to be a pain to get back together because one thing snaps after the next. Also on a used clutch like this do I need a break in period?

Rather than starting a new thread I would like to add to this. I went to drain my manual tranny fluid. Took out the bolt and no fluid came out. So I took the tranny out and still no fluid leaked or nothing. So how do I know if anything was damaged? All gears worked fine.

Another question is I had a act streetlite flywheel resurfaced it and said it was already done once. He did it for me but said the step was within the spec I gave him. But it can't find anyone to measure it. And being as this is the 2nd resurface would it be good to install?

You could go with a south Bend clutch I hear they hold more than the act 2600 and about the same pedal feel of a 2100 correct me if I'm wrong
