I was driving home today and went to down shift and when I let the clutch out nothing the car coasted to a stop and my clutch is stuck disengaged I can shift through all gears with out pushing the clutch I had a buddy push the clutch and the slave cylinder works as should and there is no difference in the clutch pedal
Any ideas what would cause it to be stuck disengaged

Yea the forks moving like it should I was kinda expecting a bad disc I just bought it and last Sunday I put a tranny in it and the previous owner had it rigged more than I e ever seen

i had the same issue a little over a year ago and when my mechanic pulled my tranny out i needed a new clutch cause the previous owner put in a cheap ebay clutch and the springs on the clutch disc actually fell out and screwed it all up so i would suggest pull the tranny out and start shopping good luck

Yea but from what I seem while switching trannys he was cheap while building it just stupid how he put it together its got a stage3 spec 6 puck clutch and a lightweight flywheel
So would I be able to put a stock clutch back in without changing the flywheel?

I've experienced new outta the box clutch failures both with pressure plates and clutch discs. If you have full movement of the throw out then I would suspect the pressure plate or disc . Especially if the previous owner when really cheap

Did you check the shift cables on the tranny? This is a common failure/problem spot. If it some how came loose, it might give the impression that it is going in to gear, when it really isn't.

I put a stock clutch set back in it and now when I drive if I'm pushing the gas the whole car shakes bad but if I let off the gas it's smooth as can be it just seams like the motor has no power and I can't really get in it but it doesn't seem to be building boost like it used to
Any ideas
Thanks in advanced

I gotta agree with joeyvtec... you really do gotta pay to play "well" on dsms. I hated that phrase and always tried to roll with cheap parts, some stuff used or cheap is fine, but moving parts that take alot of stress and strain... way better to just buy new and a trusted brand. And yeah... i'd bet the disk bro, I saw a disk shear in 2 on an ACT street disk in a low hp car, suprising, since they are quite reliable.
