Ok... Had my car brought to the BEST Local tranny shop. There called Fisher Auto Trans. Anyway.... They do every type of car, DSM included. So they did my tranny 1year ago they put on a Exeddy Clutch to replace my stock. Then after like 20,000miles, the clutch starts slipping after I upped my boost to 21psi and was kickin ass. Went to the track and thats when the slipping started after 10psi of boost. The clutch would slippppppppp all the time. Brought it to them last week. New Clutch, and master slave cycl need to be replaced too. So I go to DSmotorSports here in NewJersey and pick my up a clutch Kit. ACT2600 w/Street Disk. So they finished it up the other day. Driving the car around, clutch is soo f'n hard. Didn't beatup on it, but boosted alittle heard and there, and maybe a few 2nd gear shifts. SO then i noticed it start that same damn slipping problem. There is wit 80miles on the clutch. So I take it back to them the next day wit 140miles... They mess around wit it alittle for like 2hrs. OK.. ALL good to go. So I ask what it was.. He either said "Clutch Master Cycl" or "A Masters Touch" .... I dont now what i heard, but 1 of the two. SO i'm driving all day.. Have 213miles on it.... Slippin' in 3rd gear, slit slip in 2nd. Even 5th gear when tryin to past a truck.... I have noticed the pressure on the foo pedal seems to change alot.. Hard / Soft... Soft when car 1st starts and gets harder maybe softer. Then the engage high seems to change too... There seems to be a little rumble I have noticed in enginebreaking(slowing down a hill in a lower gear). And sometimes alittle hesitation in acc (could be my whole in SideMount). PLEASE HELP. and if anyway to get this worded right for a shop covered repair or my warrnty company to cover the repair if 1 is needed. ANd who's fault this will point too... Thanks

I'm no pro but it Sounds to me like the shop has no idea how to adjust a hydrolic clutch.

If the pedal feel is very stiff and it feels like it is engaging/disenganging at a very 'High' area of the pedal travel then you've got to much preload. All those symptoms seem to point to that, 'rumble when engine braking' etc etc. The Dealer that did mine once had it adjusted with way to much preload. It would slip in any gear when given some throttle.

Knock that lock nut loose on the clutch pedal assembly and screw the adjusting rod counter clockwise a few turns. give yourself some 'play' in the top 1/2 inch of travel.

I think its slipping because the preload is to high and its got the clutch partially disengaged before you even touch the pedal = SLippage/Chatter

Good Luck
