I am stuck!
Last night I put in a low milage trans and a brand new ACT 2100 from Extreme PSI. When I got in the car to check to see if everything was working correctly I
come to find that I was running into the same problem before with the ACT 2600. After installing the clutch I was still not able to put the car into gear as it was running but was able to when cut off. We decided to bleed the lines and still no success with changing gears w/o grinding when trying to put into gear. We than changed the
extended slave rod that I put in for the 2600 early this month with the OEM slave rod and re-bleed the lines once again.
Now after changing the rod and bleeding the line again I tried putting it into gear as it was off the ground still and the clutch kinda felt as it wanted to go in gear causing the car to bog down but no grinding this time, only when I tried reverse and it was minor than. I seem to feel that it is something minor I have over looked are not doing something right but can not figure it out.
The clutch pedal adjustment has not been messed with since I have switched the clutch out. Would leaving the clutch adjusted out as it was purpose was for the 2600
cause the clutch not engage all the way or would it be something else? I am planning on adjusting the rod back to normal and see what will happen than. I don't see why adjustment would cause it to not engage properly but again I am not that fond with clutches and transmissions. All the info and knowledge will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all that reads.
