Resolved Clutch fork/lever different from a 90 than a 91?

I have a 1990 eagle talon TSI I had to replace the transmission and my clutch is not engaging correctly I don’t think the system is air bound does anyone know if the clutch fork/lever Is different from a 1990 than a 91 and up

Ok good. That means I don’t have to pull the tranny back out. I’ll try to bench bleed the master. There must be air in the system

Either that or your flywheel has an incorrect step height and needs to be machined.

The flywheel never came of the motor so I think it should be good. I hope

If you're saying the clutch system was good before the new transmission then you're right. Adjust the master cylinder and keep pumping the fluid to get the air out. Also try and manually bleed the slave cylinder, and make sure you don't have leaks at the slave inlet (use a thread sealant or something).

I took the master cylinder off and bench bled it today put it back on and bled it at the slave cylinder

I didn’t mean to send that yet but anyway I’m pretty positive there is no more air in the system in there definitely is no leaks I think somehow the pushrod that goes from the clutch pedal to the master is too short I extended the rod and I am going to put that in tomorrow and see what happens

Extended rod?? No.
