will a 2g Clutch Fork fit on a 1g?

They are the same fork and same part number. Originally the forks were a weaker design but have been revised for all years -- that's probably why that guy was confused. The forks are still pretty weak though; my ACT 2600 snapped it like a toothpick in less than a year. I recommend you look into Taboo's unbreakable fork.

^^^what he said, I snapped a clutch fork in a 2 1/2 days with a centerforce, anyone who even thinks about stepping on the clutch faster your grandmother would should get this, even if you're just replacing the clutch with a stock one.</end plug>

were do I find this taboo's fork, and how much. I only have a 2100, for now some hopefully I won't have any trouble. But what can I do to be more gentle on the fork. Is it in the way you launch, or slaming it switching gears?
I really appriciate the help guys.
One thing though, when I was at the mits dealer, the 90-94 had a different part number than the 95-99. He showed me on his computer too.
thanks again:thumb:

Same question as the topic title. I broke my clutch release fork and they do not sell them in the local parts store.

I have a 2g 1997 GST turbo 4g63t not the 420a. :thumb:

Let me know guys. My AIM is ismethajametovic.

I am serious. These aren't that expensive. Check the one your getting for warping or cracks. But, it is usually best to get a new one.
