clutch engagement problems

I was wondering if anyone had some ideas as to what may be causing my problem. There are no fluid leaks, replaced stock clutch line with a steel braided one, act 2600 clutch, newer slave cylinder, newer master cylinder, clutch has been bled 3 times. The clutch engages so far off the floor, basically at the top of the clutch pedal stroke. no matter how i adjust the clutch rod it stays the same and the clutch feels very mushy. so i am wondering if it has to do with clutch fork etc... anyone with some insights or have had this problem before... i need advice. Thanks

I couln't see the clutch fork causing the problem. Normally if it was a clutch fork, you would have problems pushing it in, it would be extremely hard to push in, if there is to much pressure, the fork would bust. Keep adjusting it and see if you can get it.

+1. I am trying to adjust it so i get the right freeplay, but once i do, the clutch grabs near the top of the pedal. So i turn the rod so the adjustment is somewhat near the middle and my freeplay is about 1 in. This is so annoying. I can't seem to get it right. Does the height of the pedal have anything to do with it? I can't get my pedal to go any higher than 6.5 in.

I noticed everyone that is having this problem owns a 2g. It could be failure of the pressure valve in the master cylinder. I have to adjust my girlfriends clutch all of the time cause it never stays the same. I called RRE and talked to them about it and they said that I should just keep bleeding it till its right. Its very annoying.
