Hey, so I am sure this has probably been answered before, but is the ACT 6 puck disk streetable? I am looking into a new clutch and found someone selling a sbr 3500 pressure plate with a ACT 6 puck disk? How harsh is this going to be and how will driveability be affected? All feedback welcome.

thanks in advance.

The kit is $360 with the sbr 3500 pressure plate, ACT 6 puck disk, and a Xact 11.8 lb Flywheel. Thats why i was interested, but if it is a really harsh engagement and not streetable for my stock daily driver, then theres not much point is there...

To answer your question to me it was not streetable. The ACT 6 puck with 2100lb pressure plate was the first clutch i put on my car. It cost me about $300 and was excited cus im getting a clutch that grabs at a good price. your transmission can not take that abuse daily..something is gonna break..1 year later i had a broken fork and i needed a new bellhousing cus the sleeve where the T/O bearing sits is slightly bent. My friend who had the same set up had a crack bell housing also..for RACING purposes thats a great clutch not for daily driving..

Was this with a sprung hub 6 puck or a unsprung hub 6 puck?
